Construction Update: Piling Works Continue

Piling is a critical foundation stage where reinforced concrete piles are installed deep into the ground to transfer building loads to stable soil strata below. This ensures long-term structural stability, minimizes settlement risk, and provides the strength required for a low-rise residential building designed to last.

At this stage, piles are being accurately positioned and driven in accordance with the approved structural and engineering specifications. Each pile installation is closely monitored on site to ensure alignment, depth, and quality meet design and safety standards.

This phase sets the structural backbone of the building. Once piling is completed and verified, we will proceed with pile caps, ground beams, and the foundation slab, forming the base upon which the superstructure will rise.

We will continue to share construction progress as we move through each key stage, with regular site inspections and quality sign-offs to ensure the project is delivered exactly as intended.

Construction Update: Weekly Site Inspection and Engineering Sign-Off

This week’s progress review was carried out on site by the Glam Estate management team. We conduct formal inspections every week to ensure quality, safety, and programme discipline remain tightly controlled as construction advances.

Each weekly walk-through is documented, and our engineers provide a weekly sign-off on progress, confirming that works completed align with the approved method, sequencing, and site standards.

And yes, making a brief appearance at the bottom of the photo is Dusadee’s Doberman, Rexy, calm and well-behaved as always, keeping watch while the team does their rounds.

Construction Update: Foundation Works, Piling Mobilisation

We have commenced foundation works with the mobilisation of piling operations on site. As shown in the photo, the crane is lifting and positioning the first batch of foundation piles, marking the start of the structural groundwork for 8 Atelier Residence.

These piles form the deep foundation system that transfers building loads safely into stable strata below ground. With piling materials now delivered and handling underway, the team will proceed with pile setting and installation in accordance with the approved engineering method and site programme.

Next steps: continued pile installation, followed by pile cap and ground beam preparation as we move into the next phase of foundation construction.
